  • I’ve come across a few of the articles you’ve written on prisons, prisoners and prison news and thought you may be interested in an album launch and initiative centered around the impact that prison, prison reform and prison issues have on the youth and adult incarceration before, during and after release!

The initiative is geared towards contributing to the dialogue but also providing services and opportunities not necessarily covered by the Cut50, Buried Alive Project, Equal Justice Initiative and Anti-Recidivism Initiative backed by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Prison Art by Taurus is an inside and outside view, top to bottom, 15 song LP that covers many of the topics you refer to as well as topics surrounding the artist’ Own imprisonment as a juvenile and state and federal incarceration including being buried in a Solitary Confinement Dungeon, Administrative Segregation and housed on the Nation’s Federal Death Row Unit In Terre Haute, Indiana all by the age of 25.

Taurus subsequently spent the remainder of his incarceration in America’s most secure prison the Supermax in Boscobel, Wisconsin!

Since then the artist has developed a Record Label and Brand, Keep It Taurus LLC as Chi Town Taurus aiming to address those environments and conditions as they relate to others that are similarly situated with a new way to encourage a better life and community transition for our Incarcerated brothers and sisters.

We’re really excited about it since it includes a T-shirt Program, apparel and fashion meant to provide clothing and release fit as well as job, economic and income opportunities for anyone having been touched by the “Gated-Community.”

This is an innovative new idea and we think many of the people locked up and their families and loved ones will be excited about it as well!

Below is a link to the site introducing our product. We’re launching a complete version of the project in the Spring of 2020 and we’d love if you could share the news. Can we tell you more about the Prison Art, the T-shirt Program or the events and objectives surrounding these projects?
